It is therefore essential to have personnelinvolved in the use and operation of equipment whoare competent, careful,physically and mentally quali.fied, and trained in the proper operation of the equipment and the handling ofloads, Serious hazards includebut are not limited to, improper or inadequate mainte-nance, overloading, dropping or slipping of the loadobstructing the free passage of the load,and using equipment for a purpose for which it was not intended ordesigned.
